Last weekend I took a trip with some students and teachers attending the GIN conference to go to Papaya Academy. Papaya Academy is a small school just outside Quezon City that serves students whose families have their homes and livelihoods in and around a nearby garbage dump. EARCOS Global Issues Network Conference

The 2012 EARCOS Global Issues Network conference will take place at the International School Manila from February 17-19. The conference theme is ‘Compassionate Action’. The theme is designed to reflect the two key aspects of the conference: 1. ISM Community Gardens Project

In 2009 students, teachers and parents from ES, MS and HS all joined hands and built our ISM Community Garden! Since then we have been learning more about plants, making friends from all over our school and solving problems together.
